สิวผด คือสิวที่เกิดจากต่อมเหงื่อขับเหงื่อออกมาไม่หมด จึงเกิดการอุดตัน มีลักษณะเป็นตุ่มสีแดงเล็กๆ กระจายทั่วผิวหนังคล้ายผื่น มักเกิดขึ้นเมื่อมีอากาศร้อน หรือร่างกายโดนแสงแดดและมีเหงื่อเป็นจำนวนมาก ส่วนปัจจัยอื่นๆ ที่ทำให้เกิดสิวผด ได้แก่ การใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ไม่เหมาะกับสภาพผิว พักผ่อนไม่เพียงพอ ภูมิคุ้มกันอ่อนแอ เป็นต้น ส่วนการหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้เกิดสิวผดมารบกวนร่างกายของเรา สามารถทำได้แบบง่ายๆ ดังนี้
อาบน้ำเมื่อมีเหงื่อ
เนื่องจากสิวผดเกิดจากการอุดตันของต่อมเหงื่อ ดังนั้นหลังทำกิจกรรมที่มีเหงื่อออกมาเยอะๆ ควรอาบน้ำชำระร่างกาย เพื่อป้องกันการอุดตัน และผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้ทำความสะอาดก็ต้องอ่อนโยนต่อสภาพผิว รวมไปถึงครีมบำรุง และ ผลิตภัณฑ์ซักผ้า ปรับผ้านุ่ม
หลีกเลี่ยงแสงแดด
หรือสภาพอากาศที่ร้อนชื้น อันเป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดเหงื่อโชก แต่หากจำเป็นต้องเจอแสงแดดควรทาครีมกันแดดที่มีคุณสมบัติปกป้องรังสียูวีสูง เนื่องจากรังสียูวีก็เป็นอีกสาเหตุหนึ่งที่ทำให้เกิดสิวผดตามร่างกาย
ดื่มน้ำให้เพียงพอ
ควรดื่มน้ำให้เพียงพอต่อความต้องการของร่างกาย เพื่อเป็นการดูแลจากภายในสู่ภายนอก เพื่อปรับร่างกายมีความชุ่มชื่น วิธีนี้ไม่เพียงแต่รักษาสิวผดเท่านั้น แต่ยังรักษาสิวทุกประเภท เพราะเป็นการเติมน้ำให้ผิวจึงช่วยในเรื่องของผิวขาดน้ำได้ดีอีกด้วย
ใช้แป้งน้ำรักษาสิว
เป็นวิธีที่ง่ายและนิยมทำกันเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากมีราคาไม่แพงแต่สรรพคุณหลากหลาย เช่น ลดการอุดตัน ลดการอักเสบ ช่วยสมานแผลสิว แก้อาการคัน ซึ่งส่วนผสมที่สำคัญมักจะเป็นสมุนไพรไทย สามารถหาซื้อได้ตามท้องตลาด ส่วนวิธีใช้เพียงทาให้ทั่วบริเวณที่เป็นสิวผด เป็นประจำก็จะช่วยบรรเทาและดีขึ้นตามลำดับ
